New Work Access Road

Area to be cleared to allow access for lake clearing machines - No Public Access


Reed Clearance and de silting

These areas of the lake will be cleared to a water depth of 0.5M


Silted Reed Bed

3 meter wide reed margin will be kept

De-silting

This area will have the excess silt removed to a minimum depth of 1 meter

A submerged barrier has been built at the entrance to the main lake.  The 12M long, 4M wide stone filled hard standing is 30cm below the water line.

This will form the down stream wall of a silt trap, that can be driven on :- to allow future de-silting
