work on trees and woodland has stopped for the bird nesting season.  The timber previously felled is being cut-up and put in the wooded areas to enhance the habitat for insects.   

Chain Saw licenses- OK.  (MBC) has agreed to the work being done.

Gunnergate Lane fence: the new timber and existing fence has been painted with donated green wood stain to blend them in.

Planned work: there is a need to follow-up with MBC about timber supply.  New boards for paths measured and awaiting confirmation and costings

An average of 3 or 4 bags of rubbish continues to be collected each week; together with trolleys rounded-up.

There have been no large items of fly-tipped materials recently.

Email and telephone contact has been asked of the official responsible for the silt trap work. No responce to date - Alternative routes being investigated. 

Plans being made to work with local schools to remake existing bug hotels from the start of the next school year
